> Quantify one unit of Gay.

What conclusion did you come to?

If I follow the analogy of the millihelen being the quantity of beauty sufficient to launch one ship, I think I'll have to go with the milliberace... but I don't have a punchline yet.

Hmm. I think I see where you're going, but I'm thinking that the liberace as a unit of measurement would be for flamboyance rather than a direct measurement of gayness. The immediate, observable effect would be, as one example, the amount of sequins on your clothing, with one sequin equalling one milliberace. Elvis in his later years would easily hit the 2 or 3 liberace mark in a single song. A full concert would qualify a site for EPA SuperDuperFund status for funds to cleanup from the aftereffects, including paramedic services for passed-out fans.

I'm trying to think of other units of measurement in this vein. The only one I have so far is the degree to which a person is in the closet: the nanonarnia.
