Got her with this one.
What? No coffee? Code black, people, code black!

(buzzing intercom) Paging Dr. Valdez, Dr. Juan Valdez...

Nurse, start a heated drip, 475 cc of Arabica and leave room for the creamer. Now, miss, I want you to take two cups and call me later in the morning.

Too perfect!!! I have known E.R. personal who would love that.
For me, make it tea.

If I'm going to make it tea, the tone would change depending on whether we're talking hot tea or iced tea. If it's iced, it's going to start sounding like the ER I darn near grew up in back in Chattanooga.

"Raight nah, we're gonna needta start ah aye-aveee? Nah, this is gonna pinch a touch, sweethaht, but don't yew worrah none, cause that ain't gonna bothah you none aftah a couple minnits."

If it's hot tea, I'm going to need to do some research. I've never been in a British hospital and don't want to assume it to be anything like the few examples I've seen. I don't care for the idea of Dr. Gumby the Brain Surgeon pounding an IV needle in through use of a brick, after all.

Darlin', I will generally drink hot tea only when I am vertical, but as hot as it has been, iced tea is very welcome as well. (you know, "iced tea, the house wine of the south", I still live by that.)

I think my parents' household kept Lipton and Tetley on store shelves single-handedly by my father's desire to drink iced tea with everything he ever ate. I am fairly sure that he took glasses of water with a glass of iced tea on the side.

I know that feeling. I wish I had owned stock in Lipton, we could retire. I know I have had tuns of the stuff in my life. (yes, I meant the spelling)

Now wcg buys tea on line and buys several boxes at a time of loose tea, and the stuff is wonderful. Makes Lipton taste like floor sweepings. I found long ago I prefer loose tea, but this stuff has almost ruined me for tea bags of any kind. It also is cheaper than Lipton, and a much better quality and cut of tea.

i drink iced tea with everything i eat.

water is what you drink while you're waiting for the tea to get strong enough to stand up to ice. (actually, water is what you make tea out of, of course.)

The bigger question is, did this occur before or after you saw today's Woot! offering?! :D

Well, I can answer this in a slightly left-handed fashion: I hadn't heard about today's Woot offering until you told me about it. :)
