I could not resist.  
As part of my work, I monitor and answer Internet chats from clients and potential customers. (Support and sales, in other words.)

Any chat we take, we are supposed to write up as a ticket for reference purposes. The easy way to document a chat is just to copy the chat as the ticket, which preserves for the record what was actually said to a customer.

The ticket system always includes a "Phone #" field. For phone calls, obviously, we enter the number from which the call came. For chats, we normally just put in "chat."

I couldn't, could not resist. I just got off a chat with "Jenny." In the phone number field? I put "867-5309."

I swear, I'll go to my grave unable to remember my own birthdate or Social Security number, but if you say the name "Jenny" to me...
