Oh, what am I thankful for, you ask?

I'm thankful that I don't do NaNoWriMo, that's what I'm friggin' thankful for. I'm also thankful that it's almost over. I'm even more thankful that I'm in a place where I don't care if I end my sentences with prepositions or not. Nyah.

Hope you all had a happy Foodmas. Just one month and one day until the trials of Giftmas are behind us for another year.

Look at it this way: it's now only one month and one week until Drinkmas. If it helps you get through the season, start early. I call it "practicing."
Current Mood: not gruntled.
Current Music: a washing machine cycling away

"a preposition is the wrong kind of word to end a sentence with." or, as Winston Churchill said, when a copy-editor tried to rewrite a sentence he had ended with a preposition, "this is the kind of nonsense up with which i shall not put!" or...
"I lately lost a preposition;
It hid, I thought, beneath my chair.
And angrily I cried: 'Perdition!
Up from out of in under there!'

Correctness is my vademecum;
Straggling phrases I abhor;
Still I wonder - what should he come
Up from out of in under for?"
