Here comes another one, trying to lock the broom closet.
Anyone see another Pat Pulling in the offing in this woman? She's a Michigan mom who wants to "educate" people about the dangers of Harry Potter.

Besides being a religion-besotted ninny, she can't read or watch movies, apparently, because The Wizard of Oz has Glinda the Good Witch.

I'm sick of going through this again and again and again just because we don't share these people's particular imaginary friend.

Same here. Unfortunately, I can't think of a way to outlaw stupidity. You have to set up standards, evaluation centers, argue with the PC police on who is stupid and who is "Redneck-American," and so on. As George Carlin mentioned, we could outlaw religion and the problems would solve themselves over a few generations, "but we don't have time for rational solutions."

*shrug* Let her ramble her views as much as she wants. Long as she's footing her own bill and folks come to see her of their own free will, that's cool. The minute she starts calling for legislation or some other form of compulsion, she's outta line.

It's balm to my lost, wounded soul to realize just how powerful I am: clearly, I reached 30 years into the future so that I could be influenced into paganism by Harry Potter.

I wonder if anyone has pointed out to this woman that Jesus spent another significant part of his ministry on earth telling people to mind their own damned business.
