Let's be clear.
Do you see the spinning of my finger? Do you see how it twirls in the air, signaling that I am excited to the point of speechless gesturing regarding the topic du jour? Know that this signals me saying unto whatever topic we are discussing, "Woopedee doo, I so care."

I had a different gesture in mind. In fact, I even considered making regional versions. It involves one finger for the American audience, much as does this one, though it used a different finger. For my friends across the Pond, two fingers were involved, making a "v." Perhaps you are familiar with what it would signify. It was then that I remembered LiveJournal prefers relatively clean userpics, bereft of obvious profanities and obscene gestures. Thus, my quiet, cynical compromise, presented here and likely many times again that have yet to pass.

Re: GIP
That would be very like the British version I was considering, yes.

Isn't that only for the default userpic?

Probably, but I have erred on the side of "not pushing it" today.

well, i've only actually used it about four times. and at least i made sure that the lettering covered the worst of it - the idea was to leave just enough for it to be recognizable. i'm rather proud of it, actually... ;-)
